Rudolf<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Essa temporada de flares foi descoberta em abril de 1999 quando o astr\u00f4nomo amador brasileiro Paulo Cacella relatou ter observado a olho nu pontos luminosos que se pareciam com estrelas. Alcir Carra, tamb\u00e9m brasileiro, confirmou a observa\u00e7\u00e3o poucos dias depois e chegou a propor que de fato eram estrelas pois a op\u00e7\u00e3o alternativa seriam geosat\u00e9lites brilhando a magnitudes vis\u00edveis o que at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o era desconhecido.<\/p>\n<p>[arve url=&#8221;https:\/\/vimeo.com\/22434396&#8243; \/]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Time lapse da sequ\u00eancia de flares de sat\u00e9lites geoestacion\u00e1rios.<br \/>\nRoland Stalder, Su\u00ed\u00e7a, 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apesar de um ceticismo inicial por parte da comunidade internacional de observadores de sat\u00e9lites por fim foi confirmado (ap\u00f3s recorrentes observa\u00e7\u00f5es) que de fato os dois brasileiros haviam observado flares de geosat\u00e9lites.<\/p>\n<p>Foi Rainer Kresken da ESA quem solucionou a quest\u00e3o, a resposta era que em algumas vezes ao ano (um pouco antes ou depois Equin\u00f3cios) ocorre a &#8220;Temporada de Flares&#8221; de Geosat\u00e9lites porque ent\u00e3o o Sol est\u00e1 no (ou perto) do plano do cintur\u00e3o dos geosat\u00e9lites (Equador Celeste) iluminando suas superf\u00edcies reflexivas e pain\u00e9is solares.<\/p>\n<p>[arve url=&#8221;https:\/\/youtu.be\/zwTKesUEKSQ&#8221;
