Lauriston Trindade teve oportunidade de conversar com Marc Gyssens (atual tesoureiro da IMO) sobre a experi\u00eancia de estar t\u00e3o distante do Brasil e apresentar os produtos cient\u00edficos da BRAMON. Marc confirmou que n\u00e3o estava errado quando decidiu convidar a BRAMON para uma &#8220;lecture&#8221; e que j\u00e1 no nosso resumo de inscri\u00e7\u00e3o notou a for\u00e7a do trabalho colaborativo.<\/p>\n<p>Depois foi o momento de conversar um pouco com Regina Rudawska (Meteor Data Center). Mostrou-se feliz em ver Trindade. Foram minutos para conversarem sobre os informes das chuvas de meteoros e como o MDC via essa &#8220;tempestade&#8221; de chuvas enviadas pela BRAMON nos \u00faltimos dias. Al\u00e9m das 25 chuvas j\u00e1 listadas no site do MDC, submetemos mais 75 novos radiantes para aprecia\u00e7\u00e3o e valida\u00e7\u00e3o internacional. Rudawska quis saber mais sobre nossa metodologia de busca de novos radiantes, foi quando Lauriston ressaltou a enorme import\u00e2ncia do trabalho em equipe que \u00e9 marca da BRAMON. Nesta empreitada, Leonardo Amaral criou uma suite de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es computacionais que n\u00e3o somente buscam similaridade orbital entre centenas de milhares de meteoros, mas que tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 capaz de empreender testes estat\u00edsticos complementares. Em tal estudo, ele abordava a chance matem\u00e1tica de que uma queda de meteorito pudesse desencadear uma crise nuclear. Isto \u00e9, quais s chances de uma queda de meteorito atingir uma central nuclear, causando um acidente como o de Chernobil? O trabalho, intitulado &#8220;Meter size meteorite impact&#8221; gerou bastante discuss\u00e3o ente os participantes.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00e1 Ayyub Guliyev, do\u00a0<em>Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory (Azerbaij\u00e3o)<\/em>\u00a0com o trabalho &#8220;About one possible mechanism of the comet splitting&#8221; falou sobre as rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre as chuvas de meteoros e os mecanismos de fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o de cometas.<\/p>\n<p>A alem\u00e3 Esther Drolshagen trouxe a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o: Near real-time monitoring system for atmosferic impacts from small NEOs. Ela mostrava a integra\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00e9todos para quantificar e ajustar as estat\u00edsticas de impactos de pequenos asteroides com a Terra.<\/p>\n<p>O franc\u00eas Fran\u00e7ois Colas mostrou um estudo que abordava o hist\u00f3rico de registros de impactos de meteor\u00f3ides contra os planetas gigantes. Com o t\u00edtulo de: Detection of impacts on giant planets, another way to determine meter sizer object flux in our solar system.
